A Reciprocating compressor or Piston compressor is a well known old type of positive displacement compressor that uses pistons driven by a crankshaft to deliver gasses at high pressure.The intake gas enters the suction manifold then flows in to the compression cylinder where it gets compressed by a piston driven in a reciprocating motion via a crankshaft and is then discharged. It is made in V or L type and different number of cylinders which V type is more popular in small sizes. This is a heavy duty compressor which can work in southern parts of IRAN easily. It works perfectly in higher condensing temperature which the highest limit is 145 °F (about 68 °C).
